We’re looking for our next media superstar, who will work closely with the media team, providing support and assistance in all media work, project managing above the line and digital media campaigns.  You’ll help foster an agency culture of results, sharing knowledge and ideas, and celebrating the effectiveness of our work.

The Junior Media Buyer is a newly created role in our award-winning media team at one of the AFR’s Best Places to Work 2021.  This role will be assisting day to day planning and buying across all media proposals and schedules, ensuring that there’s efficiency and rigour in the process. A key part of this role is assisting in the development of buying strategies to deliver great media outcomes and efficiencies. You’ll work collaboratively with finance and the larger agency team to create outstanding outcomes for our clients.

Detail-oriented team player  You have excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and have demonstrable numeric and financial astuteness. You’re a team player who also thrives working autonomously. 

Developing media skills  You already have a basic understanding of media buying and implementation systems (such as Roy Morgan, ETAM, Neilson, DV360) as well as key mediums and how the marketplace impacts media buys.  You’re looking for a supportive team who’ll help you to expand your knowledge across integrated media with a strong focus on buying and negotiating 

Strong communicator  You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable managing expectations both within your team and with external stakeholders.
